Cookie policy.
This site doesn’t use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, which is why there’s no cookie banner. It only uses the small amount of storage it needs to work.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
ws_admin | Cookie (strictly necessary) | Keeps the site owner signed in to the private dashboard. Never set for visitors. | 7 days |
theme | Local storage (functional) | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. | Until you clear it |
message-draft-v1 | Local storage (functional) | Saves your unsent message so you don’t lose it if the page reloads. Deleted when you send it. | Until sent or cleared |
Why no consent banner
- Under UK rules (PECR), storage that’s strictly necessary for something you’ve asked for, like keeping your draft or your theme choice, doesn’t need consent.
- The site loads its fonts from its own server, so no third party is contacted when you visit.
Managing storage
- You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. The site will still work, but your theme choice and any unsent draft will be forgotten.
Changes
- If I ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, I’ll update this page and ask for your consent first.
